Created by classroom teachers and backed by evidence from independent research, the Responsive Classroom approach is based on the premise that children learn best when they have both academic and social-emotional skills. The approach therefore consists of classroom and schoolwide practices for deliberately helping children build academic and social-emotional competencies.

www.responsibilityproject.com
From the website: ...the idea of responsibility can be difficult to define. What does it mean? Why is it important? These aren’t questions that can be easily addressed or agreed upon. There are a lot of differing opinions and beliefs involved. And while we may never uncover any definitive answers, we believe the questions are still worth asking.

www.egadideas.com/ideas.asp
A listing of over 1,700 games and activities for youth groups to play. The primary focus is on youth ministry and church-based youth groups, however easily adapted to any group. I have not reviewed every activity for appropriateness. There is a listing of both INDOOR and OUTDOOR games.

www.teachingtolerance.org
This is one of my “go-to” websites if I need information on creating an inclusive classroom. Here, you will find links to information for students, teacher and parents—the complete cycle of a safe learning environment. Curriculum that is available is generally created from classroom educators and already tested. They also have links to a few grants, books, additional resources, etc.
